Easykey is a sophisticated tool designed to extract claims information from various healthcare provider websites, removing the need for manual logins and time-consuming navigation of slow, unresponsive sites. The tool automatically enters information into backend PM systems using screen and desktop automation. It also features an advanced reporting console, enabling users to access the precise information they need efficiently.
A leading billing company in the US sought an automation solution to download claims from specific payer websites. They needed a system to input this information into their system based on status, allowing them to assign tasks to various work queues within the company. Manual processing was challenging due to its labor-intensive nature and the need to gather information from multiple websites.
We developed a custom proprietary desktop and web automation library. This library allowed us to access Payor websites, download information in batches, and store it in a database. We then transferred this data to the backend tool using desktop-based automation.
Given the specialized nature of the automation solution and its close integration with specific systems and a few Payor websites, it may not be widely applicable. However, it greatly improved the timeliness of information posting into their system. Denied claims were processed much faster, leading to better accounts receivable management. We were pleased to learn that the account manager who used this tool was recognized for increased efficiency and a higher collection rate within her company.
